About the Role
ScentAir is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team in Charlotte, NC.
This position offers hands-on experience across multiple accounting disciplines, including general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, lease accounting, and audit support. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, analytical, and eager to develop professionally within a dynamic global organization.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Participate in global month end close process
- Technical accounting research and position papers
- Record various month end journal entries to the general ledger to include intercompany eliminations
- Prepare global consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP to include foreign currency translations
- Cross-functional collaboration on projects
- Trend analysis for various business components and identify process improvements
- Board of Director, Capital Partner and Lender reporting
- Balance sheet account reconciliation and analysis
- Development of new reporting platforms and reports
- Acquisition accounting
- Budget coordination and preparation
- Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
- Assist Senior Management team with the analytics on data mining of the company
- Trend and forecast operating levers relevant to profitability, cash flow and ROI
- ERP maintenance and liaison with IT group
- Provide transparency into financial and operating variables in the business for department managers, and follow with insightful recommendations for changes and process
- Assist with annual physical inventory
- Assist with annual audit and tax compliance
- Other duties as identified and/or as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or the equivalent experience plus three years of related experience
- CPA required
- Strong Excel experience (Pivot tables, V-look ups)
- SQL experience a plus
- Public Accounting experience required
- In-depth ERP experience – Sage X3 experience strongly preferred
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
