SUMMARY
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to oversee Sales, Technical and Operations in Middle East based in either Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Riyadh.
As a Business Development Manager for the Middle East region, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of clients, driving sales, and supporting the technical aspects of our products. You will lead regional growth by building strong customer relationships and offering solutions that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring customer satisfaction and technical support. Your work will be key in enhancing our clients’ brand image and the overall customer experience in the Middle East region.
ESSENTIAL DEPARTMENTAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and business development
- Oversee clients in the Middle East region including communication and project management support ;
- Assist with sales requests and proposals to communicate pricing, equipment and fragrance standards ;
- Work closely with the Customer Care Team to ensure existing clients are satisfied with our services to maintain a positive retention strategy, highlighting areas for improvement based on customer feedback ;
- Collaborate with all departments including marketing, fragrance and product development, manufacturing and shipping, finance, international, technical services and client relations to ensure successful trials and rollout launches and ongoing performance ;
- Act as liaison for internal and external communications with clients, sales teammates and all corporate departments ;
- Manage ongoing calls and ensure a positive relationship with clients.
Technical support and product expertise
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of the ScentAir’s products and technologies to provide technical support to clients ;
- Guide clients on product selection, installation, and maintenance based on specific environmental or functional needs ;
- Collaborate with the technical team to resolve any product or service issues and ensure seamless installations ;
- Offer on-site demonstrations and training for clients and distributors on proper product usage and maintenance.
- Ensure reporting and communication is frequent and multi-directional ;
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five to seven years of working experience in technical sales or business development, in the Middle East region.
- Strong experience in B2B sales.
- Ability to understand technical aspects of our products and provide support.
- Ability to analyze issues and deliver practical solutions promptly.
- Understanding of Middle East business practices and cultural nuances to build trust rapport with clients.
- Very good communication skills to interact with diverse type of clients.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills with Arabic proficiency as a strong advantage.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM tools.
