KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to work remotely from Beijing, China, while our headquarters are located in Shanghai. This position is an individual contributor role. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify and secure new business opportunities through cold calling. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing the entire sales cycle, which includes lead generation, prospecting, relationship development, proposal writing, negotiations, closing sales, and follow-up. The majority of the time will be spent reaching out to new prospects and customers. The individual should feel comfortable selling to various levels within the prospect’s organization.

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Development: Manage and drive the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, growing sales pipeline, prospecting/cold calling, presentation to customers, proposal writing, negotiations, closing opportunities, and post-sales follow-up
- Sales plan formulation and execution: Based on the analysis of the demand of target customers in this area and the breakdown of the company's annual plan, formulate sales targets, implement sales policies and strategies, ensure the achievement of market share and sales goals, with strong execution ability to effectively carry out tasks assigned by superiors
- Product knowledge and skills: Continuously improve product knowledge and consultative selling technique. Establish customer needs, buying cycles, propose Scent Solutions and create a customer-supplier relationship
- Sales Contract Management: Prepare sales information and sales contracts for prospective customers and present the information in face-to-face meetings at the customer’s place of business
- Customer Relationship: Visit customers regularly to ensure their stability and reduce attrition
- Customer Satisfaction Management: Ensure customer orders are secured by considering delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfilment
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to provide a high level of customer experience
- Addressing customer complaints promptly leads to greater customer satisfaction with the support provided
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in management, marketing, or related fields is required
- Minimum of 3 years of sales-related experience is preferred
- Proven success in sales within industries such as hotels, hospitality, commercial complexes, or chain retailers is advantageous
- Candidates without sales experience but with enthusiasm for a sales role, a sociable personality, and an energetic demeaner are also welcome. Those with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Manager role
- Strong prospecting skills and ability to develop new accounts, with a focus on solution selling
- Solid experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) environment
- A positive attitude and strong self-motivation.
- Strong communication skills, able to listen well and connect with people at all levels, showing strong speaking and convincing abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, with an emphasis on prioritization and time management
- Proficient in logical problem-solving, data analysis, and attentive to numerical details
- Capable of understanding and clearly conveying relevant business and technical information to various audiences
- Experience working remotely with minimal supervision
- Experience with CRM systems (such as Salesforce) is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Proficient in both written and spoken Putonghua and English
