As the Staff Accountant, you will assist in the preparation of financial statements, maintain financial records, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with limited experience to grow their career in accounting.

Your day to day...

· Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger.

· Post journal entries and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.

· Apply cash payments to open invoices.

· Monitor unapplied cash and unapplied credit on customer's accounts and apply as needed.

· Maintain monthly schedules and accounting for prepaids, fixed assets, leases, and accruals.

· Assist in monthly financial reporting process, including inter-company reconciliations, elimination entries, financial statement preparation, and other various reporting requirements.

· Support the annual audit process.

· Assist with special projects and perform other accounting duties as assigned.

· Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.

· Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

· Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

What we are looking for...

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.

· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
